It is the newest of the public universities in the Portuguese capital, earning its name as the "New" (NOVA) University of Lisbon. The institution has more than 20,000 students and 1,800 professors and staff members across five faculties, three institutes, and one school, offering a variety of courses in several fields of knowledge.
The Triple E Awards ceremony will take place at the university's Rectorate Building. The Rectorate building serves as a central support service for the University’s governance and enjoys administrative and financial autonomy. It is just 10 minutes (7 km) from Lisbon Airport and is easily accessible by public transport.
